Blogging Is Fun And It’s Profitable Too!
Not long ago I figured that blogging is an effective way to promote websites, I decided I should only work on wordpress based blogs, as far as we know that WordPress is ideal for almost all kinds of blogging needs, people even use it as CMS, with the fact that its licensed under GPL make the WordPress the most favored blogging kit around the globe.
After a while I believed that build my own blogs will be more beneficial, because then I can use established and fully owned blogs to advertise other websites, and I think its not a patentable idea, the existence of blog networks already says it all, the thing is that I don’t control those blogs, not to mention I can’t just post to them, obviously I will have to pay the owner to use their blogs, probably not cheap at all.
Its a tedious job to maintain more than a few blogs, if you’re not using your blogs as spamming device, to write real stuff for your blogs will be time consuming, a successful blog needs a lot of hard work. I’ve seen quite a few real world examples, let’s examine this one, Chain Binders and Transport Chains, the domain name is pretty good, and there are a lot of interesting articles on it, since this is not a themed blog, there are all kinds of posts on the site. One more example, Truck Drivers, this is a themed blog, all topics are about same theme, and ranks well for quite a few keywords. I can show you a lot more sites, though I guess you get the point already. Last but not least, some of your blogs should not be very serious ones, let them get some content occasionally, take one blog as example, Truck Winch and Winch Straps, this will make a blog network more like naturally built blog groups.
After you successfully build a few blogs, you can try to build a few more, then use the established blogs to promote the new ones, this is the way to build your own blogging network. This is just an idea, to build a successful network will be much more complicated, one of the most important things is that don’t get your site kicked out by major search engines.
